Purple Qi from the East Wealth-Attracting Gourd Copper Ornament
Selected pure copper, cast in one piece using the intangible heritage lost-wax technique, carved through the ancient purple glaze and gold-tracing copper coloration craft. The entire body is resplendent in purple, with gilt patterns that are three-dimensional and delicate. The upper part of the vessel is engraved with "Great Fortune and Great Profit", accompanied by intertwined lotus flowers, spirit bats holding blessings, and the Buddhist Eight Auspicious Symbols. The gourd has been a vessel of fortune and prosperity since ancient times, and the purple color signifies "purple qi coming from the east," flourishing the home and attracting wealth. Placed in the entryway, it gathers blessings and blocks malevolent forces; placed in the living room, it gathers prosperity and guards wealth — praying for the whole family's great fortune, great profit, and lasting blessings and prosperity.

Gourd
The gourd is one of the most classic auspicious symbols in traditional Chinese culture. A homophone for "fortune and prosperity" (fulu), it carries all the ancient people's wishes for a good life and is also an important vessel in Taoist culture for absorbing qi and suppressing malevolent forces. The gourd's shape — small mouth and large belly — was regarded by the ancients as a "qi-gathering vessel," capable of firmly locking in blessings and wealth without leakage, embodying the beautiful imagery of "absorbing wealth from all directions, guarding a house full of fortune and prosperity."
Copper Firing Coloration
After heating the pure copper, natural mineral medicinal materials are used to fire it in stages. The copper body's surface forms a dense purple-red oxide skin — this is the vessel's overall purple qi base color, with adhesion firmly penetrating into the copper body's texture, not fading or peeling. The raised patterns, auspicious characters, and Eight Treasures patterns keep the copper body's original color. After polishing to expose the copper, gentle fire烘染 produces an antique golden-brown hue, forming a purple-ground gold-pattern color contrast with立体 layers.
Pure Copper
Pure copper is red copper (copper content ≥ 99.9%), with the natural color of red copper. The copper material is high in purity and dense in texture, the preferred copper material for ancient casting methods, distinct from brass which contains zinc. This gourd is solid pure copper, cast in one piece using lost-wax, with substantial material weight and a solid feel.
