How to Use
1.Place the incense burner on a stable, level surface away from strong airflow, ensuring the burner is clean and completely dry.
2.For backflow incense cones, light the tip and allow it to burn briefly. Gently blow out the flame and place the cone in the dragon’s designated holder while it continues to smolder.
3.For incense sticks, light the tip, gently extinguish the flame, and insert the stick into the accompanying ceramic incense holder.
4.After the incense has completely burned and the burner has cooled, remove the ash and clear any residue from the smoke channel to ensure smooth airflow.
5.Handle the burner with care to avoid impacts or damage. Store incense in a cool, dry place away from moisture, direct sunlight, and open flames.

Wudang Mountain Dragon Head Incense Tradition

The Dragon Head Incense Altar (Longtou Xiang), also known as the Dragon Head Stone, is one of the most iconic landmarks of Nanyan Palace on Wudang Mountain. Originally constructed during the Yuan Dynasty more than 700 years ago, it extends dramatically from a cliffside, creating one of the most breathtaking spiritual sites in China.

According to legend, the twin dragons carved upon the altar serve as the sacred mounts of the Zhenwu Emperor, carrying the prayers of devotees directly to the heavens. For centuries, offering incense at the Dragon Head Altar has been regarded as one of the most auspicious and spiritually significant ways to seek blessings, protection, and good fortune.

Inspired by this ancient tradition, the Dragon Head Incense Burner transforms the symbolism of the cliffside ritual into an elegant tabletop piece, allowing the spirit of Wudang's Taoist heritage to become part of everyday life.

Ambergris – The Floating Gold of the Sea

Ambergris has long been known as the “Floating Gold of the Sea” and is revered as one of the world's most precious aromatic materials.

Formed through a rare natural process involving sperm whales and refined over years of exposure to ocean currents, sunlight, and seawater, ambergris gradually develops into a smooth, wax-like substance with a uniquely rich and refined aroma. Its golden appearance inspired its poetic name and legendary status.

In Taoist incense culture, ambergris is admired for its rarity, depth, and calming character. It is traditionally associated with tranquility, focus, and inner balance, and is often regarded as the essential ingredient that brings harmony and longevity to fine incense blends.

Traditional Wudang Incense Craftsmanship

Our incense follows the traditional incense-making methods passed down through Wudang Taoist culture, guided by the philosophy that fragrance and herbal wisdom share the same origin.

From the careful selection of ingredients to the aging, blending, and shaping process, every step is completed according to traditional craftsmanship. Each incense stick is individually hand-mixed, kneaded, formed, and finished by skilled artisans.

While this handcrafted approach requires significantly more time than modern mass production, it preserves the authentic texture, refined quality, and human touch that define traditional incense artistry, allowing each stick to carry the heritage and spirit of centuries-old incense culture.
