Which Hand to Wear
Recommended (Left Hand): The left hand is believed to attract positive energy. Wearing it on the left side is said to draw in righteous energy, offer protection, ward off negative influences, enhance luck, and bring blessings and prosperity.
Special Situations: When walking at night, visiting hospitals, or entering places with heavy or negative energy, it may be temporarily worn on the right hand to help release and dispel impurities and harmful influences.

Thunder-struck wood is not simply any wood that has been struck by lightning. In Taoist tradition, it specifically refers to a tree that survives a lightning strike. Only such surviving trees are considered true thunder-struck wood. The collection of this wood is traditionally believed to require auspicious timing, specific rituals, and proper ceremonial procedures.

In Taoist practice, thunder-struck wood is regarded as one of the highest and most sacred types of spiritual wood. Thunder-struck jujube wood is believed to embody the harmonious fusion of yin and yang energies, formed through the interaction of heaven and earth. Through the strike of lightning, natural cosmic energy is said to be concentrated within the wood, imbuing it with the essence of the heavens.

It has long been traditionally associated with protection from misfortune, dispelling negative influences, attracting blessings, overcoming obstacles, and bringing auspicious luck and positive energy.

Hand-applied cinnabar is not simply surface coloring, but a traditional Taoist ritual method often described as “dotting life into the object with cinnabar and connecting it with sacred energy through red essence.” It is believed to activate spiritual resonance and carry symbolic meaning of pure yang protection, spiritual awakening, attracting auspicious energy, gathering positive qi, and guarding against negative influences while preserving blessings.

Important Safety & Care Instructions

1.Do not expose to heat: Cinnabar mainly contains mercury sulfide. At high temperatures (above 300°C / 572°F), it may decompose and release toxic mercury vapor. Keep away from fire, heat sources, and prolonged direct sunlight.

2.Not suitable for pregnant women or children: To avoid potential risks, pregnant women and children should avoid contact or wearing cinnabar items, and prevent accidental ingestion by children.

3.Keep intact: If the cinnabar surface becomes damaged or broken, its structural integrity and symbolic effect may be affected. Replacement is recommended if significant damage occurs.
